Solo Recital
This recital will serve as the send-off performance for a Fall Album Release Tour with scheduled performances in Michigan and Ohio. Highlights of the program will include some works commissioned I have commissioned and recorded on my debut solo album, Indefatigable. Pianist Ellen Elder collaborated on this album and will be joining me on this performance and subsequent tour.
Indefatigable: New Music for Trombone - Solo Recital at International Trombone Festival 2022
I am so excited to perform a full solo recital of new music that I have commissioned at this summer’s ITF! I will be joined by my wife and clarinetist, Jackie McIlwain, and my good friend and pianist, Ellen Elder.
Chamber Music Performance at ClarinetFest 2022
I am looking forward to joining my wife and clarinetist, Jackie McIlwain, along with our good friend and pianist, Ellen Elder, in performance of Alan Theisen’s Symphony No. 2 “Pas de Deux” for clarinet, trombone, and piano at the ClarinetFest 2022 in Reno, Nevada.
